Police

Policing of our five villages is the responsbility of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary.

Our Neighbourhood Policing Team operate from an office at Alresford Fire Station, Pound Hill, Alresford SO24 9BP.  There is no front counter enquiry office here.

Our Designated Neightbourhood Officer is PC Dave Fry (27211) Phone: 07387 096485 or email [email protected]  Please note that PC Fry may be on 3 days off, or Annual Leave, or night duty so please don't expect a reply immediately.  This contact is for non-urgent matters only.

The nearest public enquiry office is at Mottisfont Court, Tower Street, Winchester, SO23 8ZD opening hours 0800-2000 Mon-Sat and 0900-1700 Sundays (Closed 1400-1445). 

Crime reporting should always go through formal channels: 999 during a live incident/emergency, 101 for new crime reports after an incident or you can access the online reporting service hereThe Neighbourhood Policing Team are unable to accept new reports via email or mobile. This ensures prompt and effective classification and allocation of your crime or incident.

How to Report Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour to Hampshire Constabulary:

Is it an emergency?

Does it feel like the situation could get heated or violent very soon? Is someone in immediate danger? Do you need support right away? If so, please call 999.

If you have a hearing or speech impairment, use our textphone service 18000 or text us on 999 if you have pre-registered with the emergency SMS service.

If you have witnessed or been the victim of crime, please report it to us.

Reports are dealt with by our control room in the same way whether you report it online at www.hampshire.police or call 101.
